Do you remember when life was at it's best?
A time when things were much simpler than this
We were the true definitions of happiness
We had no concerns, no worries, no hurt
Do you remember when things took a turn for the worst?
When breaking up became more common, and easier to do
He, she, they, were no longer two.
It became transparent; easy to understand
That simple life was gone, I thought it was dead
Do you remember when a ray of light shined through?
We lost all hope, but He came to our rescue.
He was always there and He never let go.
For that I thank Him. I love Him so
